Grandhotel Ambassador – Národní dům is located in the city center of Karlovy Vary, 1.1 km from the spa center and thermal springs. The hotel belongs to the 4* Superior class with a valid certificate of the Official Uniform Classification of Accommodation Facilities of the Czech Republic and is the owner of the Non-State Health Facility authorization. Thanks to this, the hotel specializes in providing treatment stays for self-payers and wellness stays, corporate clients and transit groups are no exception. The hotel has 83 rooms of six different categories with a total of 156 beds and 10 extra beds. Individual categories are Classic single room, Classic double room, Junior Suite, Suite and Tower Suite. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom facilities, air conditioning, minibar, personal safe, television with a selection of international programs, bathrobe and slippers. The rooms also feature standard hotel furniture in a vintage style such as a wardrobe, desk, armchair or sofa, beds, bedside tables, a suitcase stand and a coffee table.

There is a complex balneo and wellness center operated under the name Ambassador Grand Spa directly in the hotel. There is a separate reception for scheduling and selling procedures, a spa doctor's office, medical staff, physiotherapists and masseurs.Individual procedures and examinations by type take place on the 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and 0th floors. In -1. on the first floor, there is an indoor pool measuring 3 x 14 meters, together with a jacuzzi bench, a Finnish sauna, a steam sauna and a sanarium. In total, over fifty types of medical, wellness or cosmetic procedures are available on all floors, such as baths, massages, therapy, compresses and wraps, exercises, cosmetic and slimming procedures, but also medical examinations, drug applications and blood sampling with subsequent analysis. The expert team focuses mainly on the treatment associated with difficulties of the digestive system, diseases of the metabolic and locomotor system, diseases of the nervous system and the prevention of these diseases.

There are two restaurants on the ground floor of the hotel for both hotel guests and the public. The Julius Zeyer restaurant with a capacity of 60 seats, accessible through the hotel reception, is the primary hotel restaurant, serving buffet style meals. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners that are available here are visited mainly by hotel guests with stays including board. Between Czech and international cuisine, diet catering is also available for guests with reduced stays.

The second Pilsner Urquell Original Restaurant – Nároďák, with a capacity of 80 seats, is connected from the hotel foyer and has a separate entrance directly from the street, which is located on the opposite corner of the building. As the name suggests, this is a traditional Czech restaurant and beer hall, designed according to the concept of the Plzeňský prazdroj. Part of the equipment and offer are copper tanks, which are used for storing and tapping tank beer. This restaurant also has an outdoor terrace for 40 people.

The first underground level houses the iconic Kakadu Music Bar, which is only open on weekends, where there are regular evenings with a live band or DJ. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and mixed cocktails are always on offer. Thanks to the great location of the bar and its connection with other areas and the lounge of the hotel, this is a completely unique and highly variable place for any type of event.

The last important space of the hotel is the Orpheum ballroom with a capacity of up to 900 people, an unforgettable atmosphere and a guarantee of exceptionality. Spaces suitable for a wide range of social events such as conferences, work meetings, training, presentations, family celebrations, congresses, seminars, concerts, weddings, proms and the complete MICE segment. This hall has great variability and it is possible to connect it practically with the entire hotel. On the first underground floor, we can connect the Orpheum hall with the Mattoni lounge with a capacity of 80 people, the Helmer and Fellner lounge with a capacity of 30 people and the Moet & Chandon lounge. The hall is also connected to the Kakadu Music Bar. The first above-ground floor, namely both restaurants, can also be connected to the first and second balconies in the hall. Thanks to its versatility, as well as its long history, the hall is very popular not only with hotel guests and tourists in Karlovy Vary, but also with the residents themselves, who visit the regularly held balls, concerts of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra or the cinema as an official screening hall for the International Film Festival.
